A common question with visitors coming to the island is about the availability of food. It is true, we are remote and we do have to make do with what is available and paying a little more than you are used to.

So you might be used to deciding what to cook and going to get the ingrediants, on the Island we buy food first and design meals second, 

Things are a little more expensive becuase of the high cost of freight on lower volumes, but we do encourage you to buy local as this contributes to our fragile economy. You may save a few dollars bring a few items with you, but these few dollars are so important to us on the island.
