Prior to early 2023 the Norfolk island Regional Council held the only licence to import liquor into Norfolk Island and as a result this monopoly prices where high and selection was limited. Seaview pioneered a change which resulted in the commonwealth Government issuing Seaview Norfolk island with a licence to import liquor into Norfolk Island. The import licence has enabled Seaview to expand the cellar and duty free shop and bring much needed competition to the Island.
